Hello im Rama(aka Mahy),I'm an egyptian that lives in Egypt
Briefly I have been suffereing from rosacea for more than 8 years now, been probably diagnosed only from 7 months ago
My symptoms is not the severe facial redness but its severe dry flaky red spots all over my face especially on my cheeks and my forehead, a lot of blackheads mainly on my nose and cheeks and my main problem is my face is so extremely dry all over and flaky with those red elevated papules but they are never pastules ( or I guess every now and then but not common to be pastules).
My main triggers are on the top of the list : the SUN and I try all I can do to stay away from the sun but as I mentioned I live in Egypt which is a very very sunny country so I suffer a lot from this, the second trigger is any and I mean any skin care products involving also the sunscreen, perfumes kill me and any home sprays and detergents
After searching and going to three dermatologists in 3 months :

HI,
I'm not sure if what i have is rosacea related. I can't help but worry this is the beginning stages of rhinophyma.
left side of my nose is "bumpy" and the tip also seems slightly more full.(started 1 year ago)
Also my left side chin has a lot of bumps that grows overtime and spread.(started 5 years ago)
All pumps I described doesnt comes and goes. They stay and develop!
Most or ALL bumps comes after already healed pimple. and are the same color of my skin, like skin access

I have :
NO weird sensation
No redness
No flushing
No tightness
My nose is very oily. But my whole T-zone is oily

I am on Doxycycline 50mg twice a day for the past 4 weeks.
I live in south Florida, All derms I saw gave me un effective "treatment"
(Metro gel,Doxycycline,Retin A .05%)

How can I stop bumps from growing?
How can I get rid of them?
Any effective "treatment"?
Any recommendation for specialist in my area?

Going to try the following treatment for one week and then update...

Metrosa 0.75% twice a day
1 baby aspirin to reduce flushing (which is the thing that really gets to me)
cod liver oil capsule x1/day
Cleanse using Clinique redness solutions
Moisturise using Simple kind to skin hydrating moisturiser
Protect using Clinique city block spf 25 sheer.
Avoid processed foods and dairy and eat healthy, wholegrains, lean proteins and lots of veg!

What a great community to have found, lots of you have made me feel less alone and less scared, so thank you so so so much!

About a year ago I went to an exercise class that was pretty energetic and was conducted in a really warm room, I felt hot but didn't care too much - I was having fun! However when I got home I saw something that I really wasn't prepared for...my face was so red it was almost purple! Aggghhhhh! It calmed down and I didn't think of it again. Then several months later it happened again, this time however I was left with two red patches on my face. I went to a pharmacy and they advised that I use Vichy norma derm and within a few weeks the redness was gone and I forgot all about it again.

Fast foward to just over a month ago and there I am sat in the theatre watching a great show with Prf. Brian Cox and others and I noticed my face felt really hot, when i looked in the mirror at home I looked ridiculous and no amount of comforting form my fiancee was helping!...
